Staying in the Moment, when in Motion! aka Mindfulness

I was thinking recently of how many accidents could be prevented if more people would stay in the "now" moments of life.

I see so many driving an automobile with their eyes not focused on what is ahead of them. And this is happening at a much higher rate than before texting became a must, while driving.

There are others walking and looking into their "not-so-smart-phones" and ending up in from of moving traffic, when they should have stoped before entering the intersection.

Our "not-so-smart-phones" should be able to tell you to "stop walking and be in the moment, your life is at stake". But no, the "not-so-smart-phone" really does not care, but shouldn't you?
